To the Pointe Dance Productions Presents Our Annual Holiday Favorite: The Christmas Gift
The Christmas Gift is an original full length dance production created to be a faith-based alternative to classic holiday ballets, where the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, is the pinnacle of our celebration. It is sure to capture the hearts and imaginations of audiences of all ages, through a vintage shopping scene, a classic family Christmas Eve, the telling of the nativity story, a journey through a fantastical Christmas Wonderland, and ending with a heart-warming message of faith, love, and giving.
The Christmas Gift tells the story of Rose and her whimsical journey discovering that Christmas is more than shopping, gifts, and treats. The Diamond Princess, with the help of her Jewels, leads Rose into a Christmas Wonderland where she is introduced to a fanciful cast of Christmas characters. It all culminates with the simplest of scenes that depicts the greatest gift the world has ever known. Rose’s heart and spirit is forever changed through her journey with Diamond Princess and a chance encounter with an unlikely friend that is sure to bring everyone into the true spirit of Christmas.
