Alexander Academy of Performing Arts is pleased to present our spring ballet, Swan Lake, in two acts.  The story was fashioned from Russian folk tales and composed by Tchaikovsky in 1875.  Swan Lake tells the story of Odette, a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer's curse.  It is a poignant story of faithful love, with the infamous Odile as "The Black Swan".
